The How Tos

1. Start talking to your contacts about the Chamber of Commerce and sign them up for a membership.

  • We have a script you can use to help explain the benefits of being a Chamber member.
  • Have them visit our website www.thechamber.org to fill out our Join Online form or jot down their information, call the Chamber staff and we will collect their payment information.
    • If they sign-up online, make sure they enter your name into the "referred by" field
    • To make sure we know where to drop off your gift, call the Chamber to report your sales!

2 Call the Chamber when you run out of contacts and we will email you 30 more.

3. Show up to the Calling Blitz May 22nd in the Historic County Courthouse Ballroom from 11:00-3:00 (top prizes awarded at 4:00pm)

2008 Chamber Membership Drive

Chamber Membership Drive Time Line:

May 12-22
, Membership drive.

  • Build your contact list and begin calling friends and associates you think could benefit from being a Chamber member. If you don't have an extensive contact list, call the Chamber for more contacts.
May 22, Calling Blitz held in the Historic County Courthouse Ballroom (the same building as the Chamber offices)
  • Gather in the Ballroom for the last leg of the Drive. Take part in the competition from 11:00am-3:30pm.
May 22, Awards Ceremony for the top membership sellers in the Ballroom
  • $6000 in prizes will be given to the top sellers
